The 18 year old paced up and down in the living room, awaiting for her father to finish one of his little clientele conversations.
She was sick of this.
Sick of having always be seen as a certain somebody. Sick of expectations. Sick of constantly being told what to do and what not to do.
The blonde wanted out this place… Wanted to travel. Anywhere but Sumaru seemed like a good idea at the moment.
Lisa was an adult now. And as such, she demands no more than to have her own piece of independence and freedom. Her father, Steven Silverman, agreed to sit through and listen to her appeal to move out this time. He promised that only then, when she reaches the ripe age of 18, that he would consider giving her liberties of sorts.
Anyway… Lisa continually paced up and down the long living room… and eventually she could hear her father’s voice raise as he walked into the living room, showing said coy visitor out for a while.
Great.
Now was the opportunity.
Steve… Old man! Remember that time I talked to you about wanting my own piece of freedom…?
Uhm… I’m planning on perhaps moving out this city… 3 months from now that is!Now before you judge and make your decision… Try to put me to the test. I’m ready, Steven… Come at me with whatever you’ve got, haime! Cos I can handle it!
/Come at me with whatever you’ve got!/
This was perhaps the last thing to expect on a Monday evening, especially after one of his clientele had visited his home office. His rather curious daughter who sat opposite him in the living room sofas… had caught him in a bad time, for he was tired and wanted to sleep.
But his interests piqued up when his daughter suddenly announced on planning to leave the city. He remembered having arguments with Lisa about this, and that he would properly talk to her about this when she reaches the proper age…
Which was… to say the least… now in a sense. Even if he didn’t want to, he did promise his daughter to at least comply.
At the very least, Mr. Silverman thought it’d be good to give his daughter a benefit of a doubt. But he wasn’t going to let her get this easy.
Its a dog eat dog world out there after all. If she was going to be tested, he was going to make her do things he knows she’ll hate. Things that will help aid her on her way into adulthood, and perhaps keep her in the house a little longer.
So, bringing out his pen, he silently jotted down a list of rules. The man was adament to keep cool and collected, as to throw his daughter Lisa off track.
Once done, he quietly handed the sheet of paper over to her, giving the blonde a stern look.
“Here.”
Rules Sheet for the next three months; *(if you fail more than three counts, no moving out soon)
- You must not reject wearing a kimono when told to.
- Attempt to adopt a more lady like manner to visitors… (be a good host)
- You must not speak out of line without permission from me.
- Stop watching Bruce Lee movies
- You must learn how to cook, draw and play the harp
- Speak normally, no Cantonese allowed
- You must tell either mother or father who you’re planning on visiting when you’re going out.
- Learn how to garden
- Speak more graciously to people generally
- No angry outbursts, no matter how tempting it may be… Especially to mother and father.
- Less junk food. More homemade foods.
- Immerse yourself in the Japanese culture
- You must greet and bid adieu to me as you leave and return, unless no-body’s about.
- Eat everything I tell you too and don’t complain.
“Since I want to be fair… Try giving me a few rules to abide too.. So you could see how I, the adult, am with complying to things generally.”
Upon taking the letter from her father, an angered huff came from the blonde’s lips.

Ok… so if that’s how you’re gonna play it…
The blonde eagerly picked up her pen, and on the page behind wrote the following:
Rule Sheet for the next three months; *(if not followed more than 3 times, I can move out when I please)
…We have a deal, old man?

“Local? No, I just moved here. I’m staying for the year..”
“And I hope so too..”
He enjoyed her company, maybe because they both shared the unfamiliarity of Inaba..

Aiyaah! Is that so? Sounds like fun!
Lisa was unaware before now that Narukami too, just like her, was unfamiliar of the area. He seemed to be like the sort of guy you’d see in a town like this. Either way, it gave her a great sense of relief knowing she was not alone. His company was much appreciated, as they shared that in common~
So!! Are you in high school or something, Narukami-san?
The blonde politely waved back with a grin on her face.
A…Aiyaaah! Lei-ho to you!
Hoisamuro to meet you too, Narukami! I’m Lisa Silverman! How do you do?~
“Lisa.. Silverman..” he repeated to himself, remembering.
“Well, I’m doing well. How about you?”
Narukami seemed to be quite a mysterious individual, the type who thinks well before they speak.

Hai! Hoisamuro to hear that! I’ve been doing rather well myself! You a local resident in Inaba? I’m still not used to the area and everything, but I hope we can get along!
Yosuke hesitates, but he nods. “Yeah, he did.” It’s not like he’s lying, his counterpart did say some nice words about the female. He’s just more caught off guard by the nickname. He personally dislikes being called that…but hey. By the looks of things, no two Yosukes are exactly alike.
“We were talking about love interests, so of course you came up. I dunno if he wants me telling you this, but he feels pretty lucky to have you.” the male genuinely grins, hoping in the back of his mind that his other self doesn’t mind him telling Lisa all of this.
“He didn’t tell me anything too personal about you though. …Mn, he did say that you like kung-fu stuff, I believe?”
Taking little note of this Yosuke’s hesitation, as she didn’t think there was anything wrong… the blonde continued grinning at him in the most carefree manner.

Aiyaah! Alright!!
Hai!! I love anything related to Martial arts… Bruce Lee, films like Trial of The Dragon, Way of The Dragon… the works!!~
Though, considering you’re a different Hanamura, I wonder! You also a big fan of music?
lisa-silverman started following you
“Oh hello.”
He waved a hand with a smile on his face.
“I’m Yu Narukami. It’s nice to meet you.”
The blonde politely waved back with a grin on her face.

A…Aiyaaah! Lei-ho to you!
Hoisamuro to meet you too, Narukami! I’m Lisa Silverman! How do you do?~
